At the Tippie College, we're proud of our facilities. We've invested the resources to provide the best atmosphere for learning. Whether you use the computer lab in the Pappajohn Business Building, interview with a prospective employer in the Pomerantz Center, or take a class in one of our Professional MBA Program (PMBA) locations, you'll come to recognize the quality of our facilities.
The Pappajohn Business Building is one of the largest academic buildings on campus. Undergraduate business courses are taught here in classrooms that range from 16 to 380+ seats. We have one of the largest computer labs on campus, which is reserved for business students during certain hours of the day. The building boasts of such amenities as Pat's Diner and even an ATM.
The Tippie College is quite proud of the Pomerantz Center, which is just across the street from the Pappajohn Business Building. The concept for the facility was launched by former dean Gary Fethke and Tippie alumnus Marvin Pomerantz. The fourth floor is home to our highly ranked Full-time and Executive MBA programs.
The Tippie PMBA is offered in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and the Quad Cities. In each location, we work diligently to ensure that our faculty have the same instructional technology that they find in any classroom on campus. Students enjoy the quality setting and the efforts we make to provide the best laboratory for learning that we can.
These outstanding facilities are the result of a lot of hard work, planning, dedication, and key financial support from our alumni. By providing support for the classrooms of today, our alumni are demonstrating The Power of I.
