Karyn graduated in 2009 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. She currently lives in Omaha and works at Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies as a commercial lines property underwriter. Karyn's current hobbies include running, volunteering with her YP group for Habitat for Humanity, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

T.C. graduated in 2006 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. After graduating from Georgia State University in 2011 with an M.S. in risk management and insurance., T.C. joined AIG's Enterprise Risk Management group in New York City. As a risk analyst, he is responsible for researching credit markets and collaborating with key business stakeholders to develop firm-wide risk analytics. Prior to joining AIG, T.C. interned at ACE Group as a risk analyst and worked at Crawford and Co. as a property and casualty insurance adjuster. He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations from The Institutes. During his time at the University of Iowa, he found his passion for risk management and enjoys every opportunity to reconnect with his Iowa roots.

Jason graduated in 2007 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. Following graduation, Jason joined The Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, where he is currently employed as a life underwriter.

Tyler graduated in 2009 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. He has worked as a commercial lines underwriter for United Fire Group since graduating. As a student, Tyler had an internship with Millhiser-Smith and United Fire Group. Tyler currently holds the Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designation. He is a recipient of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Presidential Scholarship and plans to complete the designation by the end of 2012. Tyler enjoys working out, playing racquetball, and going to Hawkeye football games with his wife, Kristin.

Jon graduated in 2010 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. He currently works in Clive, Iowa, as an account manager for the insurance company NCMIC Group Inc., where he specializes in malpractice liability coverage. Jon worked at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a commercial insurance brokerage in West Des Moines, for two years prior to joining NCMIC. As a student at Tippie, Jon was very fortunate to have a great experience while being involved in the Vaughan Institute of Risk Management and Insurance and Gamma Iota Sigma, a business fraternity with a focus on insurance, risk management, and actuarial science. Jon enjoys college football, running, spending time with friends and family, reading, and golfing. Jon is honored to be part of the Young Alumni Board and to have the chance to contribute toward enhancing the experiences of current and future Vaughan students.

Dave graduated with high distinction in 2008 with a degree finance and the RMI Certificate. He currently works as an investment professional for Prospect Partners, a lower-middle-market private equity fund located in Chicago. Prior to joining Prospect Partners in 2011, he worked as a financial analyst in the Healthcare Group at Houlihan Lokey, a middle-market investment bank, also located in Chicago. Prior to his time at Houlihan Lokey, he was a financial analyst at Dresner Partners, a boutique investment bank in Chicago. In his spare time, Daver enjoys traveling, running, hunting, and participating in other outdoor recreational activities with friends and family.

Matt graduated in 2006 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. He is currently employed at Aviva USA as a senior consultant: management information. Previous employers include US Bank (assistant relationship manager) and Principal Financial Group (actuarial analyst). In his spare time, Matt enjoys Hawkeye football and wrestling, hunting, fishing, and golfing. His advice to future grads is to "Get involved wherever you can and network, network, network!"

Catie graduated in May 2012 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. She is currently a commercial lines underwriter at Liberty Mutual Insurance in West Des Moines. Catie is involved in the Greater Des Moines Young Professionals Connections and the Insurance Association of Greater Des Moines. She enjoys playing sports, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Erin graduated in 2009 with a degree in finance and the RMI Certificate. Upon graduation, Erin accepted a position as a business analyst with The IMT Group, a property-casualty insurance company located in West Des Moines, where she currently serves as marketing coordinator. Prior to graduating, Erin had an internship with Allied Insurance. While at Iowa, Erin was a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, serving various leadership roles throughout her membership. Erin currently holds an Associate in Insurance Services (AINS) designation and is working to obtain the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation. In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
