TJ is a wellness enthusiast, eternal optimist, idea executor, and status quo challenger. He is actively involved in the wellness community, including the Healthiest State Initiative, whose goal is to make Iowa the healthiest state in the nation. He serves as the founder of Herky’s Nest, a philanthropic initiative to build Herky the Hawk a home in Kinnick that provides premium seating for kids from the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. He is passionate about helping others reach their health and wellness goals while taking action on their passions.

After graduating from the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business with a BBA in finance in May 2006, Chris joined BMO Capital Markets' investment banking division in Chicago, where he worked on numerous M&A transactions and capital raises in the food and consumer industries. In June of 2010, Chris left BMO to join ZS Associates, a management consulting firm that specializes in sales and marketing consulting. During his time at the University of Iowa, he was involved with the Hawkinson Institute, Delta Sigma Pi, Residence Life, and Iowa Icehawks hockey team.

Michael serves as policy advisor to Governor Terry E. Branstad and Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds on matters of health care and taxation. Before joining Governor Branstad's staff, Michael worked as an attorney in private practice in his hometown of Davenport, Iowa, representing individuals, businesses, and medical professionals throughout Iowa and Illinois. Before practicing as an attorney, he worked as a consultant for Deloitte & Touche in Chicago, Ill. Bousselot earned a BBA in accounting and M.Ac. in business taxation from the University of Iowa and a J.D. from Drake University Law School. He remains active on the Davenport Schools Foundation Board, the Tippie College of Business Young Alumni Board, and as a volunteer in Des Moines.

As a student in the Tippie College of Business, Michael served as president of Delta Sigma Pi, Epsilon Chapter and was a 4-year member of the University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band. Following graduation, Michael accepted a position with the Northern Trust Company as part of the 2009 GOLD rotational program, Credit Track, in Chicago, Ill. The program included three months of bank-sponsored credit training, 12 months of rotations through both personal and corporate banking as an analyst, and six months of rotations on institutional sales teams as a junior sales associate in both Chicago and Abu Dhabi, UAE. Michael maintains a broad array of interests, including travelling, scuba diving, Formula 1, and the PGA Tour.

His favorite experience was when CNBC's Mad Money came to Iowa with a sold-out audience of over 1,400 people. Alex is originally from Downers Grove, Ill.

In her free time, she enjoys marathon training, concerts and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.

Next year, he will work for Accenture's IT Strategy group in Chicago. Alan's interests include guitar, snowboarding, international travel, and cooking.

Bradford graduated from Tippie in 2006 with a BBA in accounting, and in 2007 with a M.Ac. In June 2010, after working for three years for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior tax associate, Bradford returned to Tippie to pursue a Ph.D. in accounting. His extracurricular involvement included leadership positions in Beta Alpha Psi, Dance Marathon, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

Scott is a senior manager of sales enablement at DataStax, a big data startup based in Silicon Valley. His role includes sales operations, business development, FP&A, marketing, and product management. Previously, he worked Crosslink Capital as a venture capital associate focusing on big data, enterprise IT, SaaS, enterprise hardware, and semiconductors and at Robert W. Baird for 4.5 years, where he analyzed public semiconductor stocks. During his time at the University of Iowa, Scott was an active member of the Hawkinson Institute, Delta Sigma Pi, and FMA.

Ryan's career in the Digital Business Services arena began in consulting at Acquity Group, with a focus in eCommerce solutions. He continued his digital education with Arc Worldwide, the digital arm of Leo Burnett Ad Agency. For the past six months, Ryan has been working as a project manager for Acquia, an open-source software product and services startup. In his free time, Ryan and his wife (also a Hawkeye) hop the Chicago restaurant scene and enjoy outdoor adventures in and around the city. Ryan is excited and honored to be part of the Young Alumni Board so he can give back to the college that gave him so much.

As a media supervisor on the Kraft Foods account for Starcom Mediavest Group, Jill strategically plans and purchases TV, print, billboards, and digital advertising media. During her years at Iowa, Jill interned with Cartoon Network/Adult Swim in Atlanta, as well as with an event marketing agency working on promotions for Pernod Ricard. Other achievements included earning an honor's thesis in marketing, being honored as a Tippie 21 Under 21, serving as a Delta Sigma Pi member, and working as a residentassistant.

While at Tippie, he was involved in the Business and Technology Association and the Graduate Consulting and Technology Association, and interned at Ernst & Young and Motorola. In his free time, Chuck follows the Hawks, teaches at Mt. Mercy University, volunteers with Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity, and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Tom is a foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State. He just finished an assignment at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China, which included a stint as the ambassador's staff assistant. He will depart in October to work as the ambassador's staff assistant at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. After graduating from Tippie in 2007, he received a master's in public affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and did two summer internships with the U.S. Department of State. He has lived and traveled throughout East Asia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe, and he speaks Mandarin Chinese. He credits his Tippie experience with providing a solid foundation for a career in public policy and international affairs.

He currently works as an Account Manager for NCMIC Group, Inc., an insurance company located in Clive, Iowa, specializing in malpractice liability coverage. Jon worked at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a commercial insurance brokerage in West Des Moines, Iowa, for two years prior to joining NCMIC. As a student in Tippie, Jon was very fortunate to have a great experience while being involved in the Vaughan Institute of Risk Management & Insurance and Gamma Iota Sigma, a business fraternity with a focus on insurance. Jon enjoys college football, running, spending time with friends and family, reading, and golfing. Jon is honored to be part of the Young Alumni Board and to have a chance to contribute his thoughts and ideas related to how current and future Tippie students might have an enhanced college experience.

Elise joined Barclays Capital in New York City out of the Global Markets Analyst Program in 2009 and worked as a trader in the Technology Equities Trading Division for a year. She has since moved into a new role within the same vertical, working as a desk-based analyst in Equities Trading, covering the telecommunications, Media, and Internet industries. During her undergraduate tenure, Elise served as the Tippie Senate president and helped found the Tippie Senate and Senior Class Gift Program. She was a Hawkinson scholar and peer tutor in the Judith Frank Business Writing Center, as well as a member of the Financial Management Association, Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, and the Undergraduate Leadership Council.

Andrew works as a senior analyst for HFR Asset Management and is a part-time MBA student at DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He previously worked for the proprietary trading firm, Cygnus Atratus Capital, as the head junior trader specializing in S&P 500 options and futures. Andrew is also currently a board member for the Chicago Iowa Club where he focuses on social and networking events. While at the University of Iowa, he was on the Executive Board of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and was vice president of operations for the Interfraternity Council.  Additionally, he enjoyed being a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County program. As part of the YAB, he wants to help students get involved in hedge funds and alternative investments.

Brandelle is employed in the Tippie School of Management and assists with admissions for the MBA for Professionals and Managers Program, IMBA program in Hong Kong, and CIMBA program in Italy. Prior to joining the Tipple team, she was a human resources manager for Target Stores. As an undergraduate student at Iowa, she majored in management and marketing and was also very involved in Delta Sigma Pi and Habitat for Humanity. She is currently pursuing her MBA and is eager to have her second degree from Tippie and the University of Iowa!

While at Iowa, Emilie was a member of the Judicial Board, Delta Sigma Pi, the Undergraduate Leadership Council, and the freshman mentor program. Emilie currently resides in the Chicago area with her husband, John, also a Tippie alum. In her spare time, Emilie enjoys the outdoors, reading, and cooking.
