Manager of Basketball Administration, Indiana Pacers
As the manager of basketball administration, Spencer works as an analyst supporting the Pacers coaching staff and front office. Prior to his current position, Spencer was enrolled in the JD/MBA program at Iowa where he gained key internship experiences with the University of Iowa Athletic Department, Indiana Pacers, BusinessofCollegeSports.com, and STATS, LLC. During his time at Iowa he was involved with the Hawkinson Institute, Henry Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, Dance Marathon, and the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. In his free time, Spencer enjoys cheering on the Hawkeyes, playing basketball, and biking on the many trails of Indianapolis.
Fixed Income Research Analyst, Northern Trust Asset Management
Ryan is currently a buy-side fixed income research analyst covering financial institutions for Northern Trust Asset Management in Chicago. His company coverage includes regional banks, credit card issuers, aircraft lessors, and all asset-backed securities. Previously, Ryan spent six years in the Iowa Army National Guard as an Infantryman and spent 10 months in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During his time at the University of Iowa, Ryan was involved with Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity and volunteered with Tippie Build. He looks forward to contributing to Tippie as an alumni and helping current Tippie students going forward.

Emily currently resides in Chicago, Illinois and is part of BMO Harris Bank’s Commercial Analyst Development Program. Emily graduated with University Honors from the University of Iowa in May 2015 with a degree in Finance and a Certificate in Leadership Studies. While at Iowa Emily was involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, Delta Zeta, Students to Assist Recruitment, the University of Iowa Student Government, and studied abroad in both Torino, Italy and London, England.

Jonathan is an Associate at Eagle Hill Consulting, a management consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Previously, he worked for Accenture performing change management and process improvement initiatives. During his time at the University of Iowa, Jonathan was the leader of a philanthropic organization for the ALS Association and a volunteer at Tippie Build. After work he can be found running, playing volleyball, hiking and exploring the greater D.C. area.
Investment Banking Associate, Barclays
Patrick is an associate in the Investment Banking Division of Barclays. Previously, he held summer internship positions with the Royal Bank of Scotland in their Fixed Income Syndicate (2010) and Barclays in their Securitized Products Origination Group (2011). While attending the University of Iowa, Patrick was involved in a number of organizations including the Hawkinson Institute, Alpha Kappa Psi, Federal Reserve Challenge and served two terms as Chief Financial Officer of University of Iowa Student Government. Outside of work Patrick enjoys travel, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and volunteering with the NYC chapter of Minds Matter.
Financial Analyst - FP&A, Centro Inc.
Garret currently works as an FP&A Analyst at Centro, a Chicago-based provider of digital media software and services. Prior to joining Centro, he was an investment banking analyst at Barclays in Chicago, working on a variety of M&A, financing, and advisory transactions primarily with clients in the paper and packaging industries. While at Iowa, Garret was a four-year letterwinner on the men's tennis team, Chair of the Iowa Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and a member of the Hawkinson Institute. Outside of work he enjoys watching movies, reading, exercising, traveling, and supporting Hawkeye athletics.

Adam is an Associate in General Electric’s Corporate Audit Staff where he’s currently based between Paris and Zurich working on GE’s acquisition of Alstom, a French multinational energy company. Previously, Adam spent four months working on GE’s disposition of Synchrony Financial in Stamford, Connecticut and two years in GE Healthcare’s Financial Management Program between Milwaukee and Chicago. During his time at Iowa, he was involved in the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and worked as a Finance Intern at the University of Iowa Foundation. Adam is originally from Le Mars, IA.

Victoria is a Senior Analyst at GrandView Analytics, a Chicago-based professional services firm that provides project-based consulting resources to the financial industry. Prior to joining GrandView, she was a Consulting Manager at FactSet, working with fixed income clients in the Midwest. While attending the University of Iowa, she was involved in a number of organizations, including Tippie Senate, Women in Business, and Alpha Kappa Psi. In her free time, Victoria enjoys travel, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and exploring Chicago.
Technical Services Specialist, City of Waukee Community & Economic Development
Jenna currently works as the Technical Services Specialist for the City of Waukee Community and Economic Development department. Her role involves maintaining the city's commercial real estate databases, drafting grant proposals for economic development funding and relaying economic information to potential investors in the community. While at the University of Iowa, Jenna volunteered as a mentor with Children of Promise and as a math and language arts tutor for local elementary students. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Des Moines with her daughter, Aaliyah, tutoring math, and watching superhero movies.

Lan is currently a MBA student at the Harvard Business School. Lan's previous positions include associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago, and analyst with Credit Suisse in its Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Before working in finance, Lan was a part of the Teach For America program, where he was an Algebra teacher at a low-income school in Los Angeles. As an undergraduate at Iowa, Lan was involved with the Financial Management Association, the Hawkinson Institute, and was a member of the rowing team.

Lisa recently completed her JD at the University of Illinois and moved to St. Louis, where she is a corporate associate at the law firm Lewis, Rice, & Fingersh. While at Iowa, Lisa was involved in Delta Sigma Pi, the Hawkinson Institute, the college’s Judicial Board, Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and worked as a resident assistant.

Katherine recently received her M.Ed. in Higher Education, and upon graduation started as a Program Manager for Employer Relations within Career Services at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. At Booth, Katherine oversees the on-campus interview center, working directly with both employers and current MBA students. Prior to her graduate school experience, Katherine worked as a Risk Advisory consultant for McGladrey in Cedar Rapids. During her time at Iowa, Katherine worked with Orientation Services as the Tippie direct-admit student leader. Katherine also worked for Recreational Services at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, was a Business Student Ambassador, and served as President of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity.
Internal Organization Development Manager, Deloitte
Christina is currently employed as an internal organization development manager for Deloitte. Prior to this position, she was a senior consultant with Federal Management Partners, Inc., a human capital and management consulting firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. She received her master's degree in organization development and knowledge management from George Mason University. While attending the University of Iowa, she was a faculty research assistant in finance, a Hawkinson Scholar, an intern for the Iowa Sports Marketing Department, and a campus tour guide for the Office of Admissions. Christina credits the Tippie College of Business and its alumni with the opportunities she has had to pursue a consulting career in the D.C. area and looks forward to helping current students in their endeavors.

Michael resides in Chicago, Illinois and is part of Microsoft’s Academy of College Hires working as an Associate Consultant with Fortune 500 companies and large government organizations. Michael graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2015 with a degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems with an emphasis on Business Analytics and a minor in Latin. While at Iowa, Michael was a founder of the social fraternity Delta Tau Delta and stayed involved with the Women’s Resource and Action Center and Student United Way. Michael enjoys traveling the country for work and cheering on the Hawkeyes with fellow fans he meets across the United States.

Sukriti is currently on the mergers and acquisitions advisory team at KPMG in Chicago. She was born in India, raised in South Africa, and finished her schooling in Iowa. While attending the University of Iowa, she was involved in a number of organizations, including the Hawkinson Institute, head tutor at the Judith R. Frank Business Communication Center, Tippie Senate, and World Health Initiative. When she's not working, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.

Kaitlyn is currently an executive compensation analyst at Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis. She began her career at Ameriprise in the Human Resources Leadership Development Program, a rotational program that provided the opportunity to experience three different areas within human resources: the project management office, executive compensation, and employee relations. While at Iowa, Kaitlyn was involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, Business Student Ambassadors, and the President's Leadership Society. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Minneapolis, going to the theatre, watching sports, and being involved in Ameriprise’s Young Professionals Network (YPN).

Sam is currently a finance associate for PlanGrid, a construction software company. Previously, he was a strategic finance associate for Uber in San Francisco, and an associate at Paine & Partners, LLC, a middle market private equity firm that invests in food and agribusiness companies in Chicago. He was also employed in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs, where he worked on consumer and retail financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions in New York. While in school, he was actively involved with Tippie Senate, the Hawkinson Institute, and Delta Sigma Pi. Outside of work, Sam enjoys traveling, cooking, exploring restaurants, and golfing.

Anja most recently worked in the healthcare industry within the patient financial services office at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Previously, she worked for Vast.com, a start-up and online marketplace company based out of San Francisco. Anja was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, and came to Iowa as a foreign exchange student in high school. She was very involved with Women in Business during her time at Tippie and often connected with the community through fundraising activities like the Tippie Build. Outside of work, Anja enjoys community gardening, cycling with her husband Adam, and looks forward to engaging with the Young Alumni Board to positively shape the future of Tippie undergraduates.

Courtney currently resides in Los Angeles and is a Marketing Specialist and Account Manager at Medsource LLC, a medical supply distribution company. Her primary role focuses on establishing international relationships for distribution and creating marketing strategies for new product lines. Previously, she interned with Starcom MediaVest Group in Los Angeles and Multiplatform Content in Madrid. During her time at Iowa, she was involved in numerous organizations including Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, the Global Engagement Student Advisory Board, and the International Student Advisory Board. Additionally, she studied abroad in Spain and Italy. During her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling, watching sports, and volunteering with a local dog rescue.

Tim is a risk assurance associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) after having interned there during the summer of 2011. He has also worked at ConAgra Foods Inc., CUNA Mutual Group, and Wells' Dairy Inc. While attending the Tippie College of Business, he was the Hawkinson Institute of Finance scholar, a member of the Beta Alpha Psi Honorary Accounting Society, and a part of the University of Iowa rowing team. Andrew is an Investment Analyst at Jackson National Asset Management specializing in alternative and equity investments. Beyond his education at Tippie, Andrew graduated, with distinction, from DePaul's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with an MBA in Finance and Investment Management. He previously worked as a Senior Analyst for HFR Asset Management where he was responsible for research and due diligence of hedge fund investments spread across equity hedge, event driven, macro and relative value strategies. He started his career in derivatives trading for Cygnus Atratus where he specialized in S&P 500 Futures and Options. Andrew currently serves as a board member for the Chicago Iowa Club. While at the University of Iowa, he was on the executive board of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and was Vice President of Operations for the Interfraternity Council. Additionally, he enjoyed being a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County program.

Ryan is currently a Compliance/Operational Risk Associate in Wells Fargo’s Risk Associate Program and is located in Des Moines, IA. In this role, Ryan is participating in a two-year development program in which he will occupy various roles designed to expose him to the different compliance, operational, reputational, and market risks within the consumer lending industry. Ryan graduated with high distinction from the University of Iowa with a degree in Finance and Management (Leadership Track) with a Certificate in Leadership Studies. While an undergraduate, Ryan was involved with the Tippie Undergraduate Judicial Board, KRUI Radio, represented Tippie at the Eller Ethics Case Competition, and was selected as a Meet the Challenge Award winner for his involvement in various student organizations in April 2015. In his free time, Ryan enjoys cheering on Hawkeye sports and his other favorite sports teams, volunteering in the community, and spending time with friends and family.

Caitlin is the founding director of opearations at the Memphis Delta, a preparatory school in Tennessee. She was previously a Data Analyst Fellow through Education Pioneers, where she uses data analytics to tackle education reform issues in Memphis, TN. She has completed her Master of Education degree at Christian Brothers University in 2015. Previously, she served as a Teach For America Corps Member and taught high school mathematics in Memphis. During her time at Tippie, Caitlin had summer internships at Target Corporation and John Deere Financial. She was President of Delta Sigma Pi, served on the Family Relations and Sponsorship committees for Dance Marathon, and was a member of the Hawkinson Institute and Business Student Ambassadors Organization.

Lucy currently works in HRIS at Edelman in downtown Chicago as a senior analyst. She returned to the Midwest after starting her career at Intel in Portland, Oregon. Lucy graduated with a Human Resources Management degree from The Tippie College of Business in May 2012. While Lucy was at Iowa, she served as President of Tippie Senate, was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, and worked as a Resident Assistant.

Based out of their Chicago office, Kevin works as a project manager for his client in the retail industry. While an undergraduate, she served as president of Tippie Senate, volunteered with Tippie Build, and was the commencement speaker of her graduating class.

Wenran is an assurance staff at Ernst & Young’s Chicago Financial Services Office. Her main client focuses are Private Equity and Hedge Fund firms. Wenran graduated from Tippie with a double major in Accounting and Finance in 2013, and then she received her Master of Accounting degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. While at Iowa, she served as an undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Financial Accounting and Reporting, a Career Peer Advisor at Pomerantz Career Center, and Honor Peer Advisor at the Honor’s Program.
