Judith R. Frank Business Communication Center
The Judith R. Frank Business Communication Center works with Tippie students to ensure that they graduate with the communication skills they need to become industry leaders. It's just one of the ways that our innovative programming has an impact on our graduates. To learn how the Frank Center can help you improve your writing and speaking skills follow the link to Why Business Communication Matters. For writing appointments, tutors can focus on organization and development of content, clarity, and grammar. In speaking appointments, students can practice vocal and physical delivery, organize presentation content, and improve PowerPoint slides.
Our trained staff of graduates and peers serves hundreds of students each semester. Our tutors are trained to handle both business writing and speaking and assignments, and mentor each student individually, using course work as guidelines for critique and review. We work closely with professors and teaching assistants in the writing-intensive courses, develop handouts based on particular assignments, and give targeted presentations to classes.
