|Each year, Tippie's Beta Alpha Psi chapter offers our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, helping low and moderate income taxpayers in the Johnson County area prepare and file their taxes. All volunteers are accounting majors at Tippie or students at the UI College of Law, and are certified at least at the Basic level by the IRS to become tax return preparers. The volunteer can be a quality reviewer if he/she is certified at the Advanced level. For those accounting majors who haven't taken 6A:133 Intro to Taxation yet, you can still volunteer as greeters to welcome the taxpayers.
