Summer Global Internship Programs - All Cities
2:00 PM Location: W401 PBB Contact: Beth R Knudson	We'll provide an overview of all four of the Tippie Summer Global Internship programs - English language options in London and Hong Kong as well as world language programs in Madrid and Paris. Learn how combining a professional internship with a cultural and/or language immersion experience can differentiate you in the global workforce. City-specific information sessions are being offered weekly as well. The application deadline is Dec. 7. (This counts as an Admit One event.) More information

Leadership for Diversity & Inclusion Workshop
4:00 PM Location: W401 PBB Contact: Brooke Paulsen	This National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) workshop for TCOB undergraduate students is a highly interactive five hour workshop (meal included) in which participants increase their leadership skills in the area of cultural competency, and essential skills in the global workplace. Participants will work on developing pride in their own identities, explore their "records" about other groups, listen to stories and experiences of other groups, and practice engaging hurtful comments, jokes, or slurs. Participants must be available for the entire five hours and must RSVP to brooke-paulsen@uiowa.edu by October 9 to participate. This is an Admit One approved program.
