Applications are invited for tenured, tenure track, and non-tenure track faculty positions beginning August, 2010. All ranks will be considered. We are authorized to add six tenured or tenure track positions over the next three years, subject to final budgetary approval. This year we plan to fill two of these positions.
We are interested in candidates in all areas. Senior candidates must have outstanding records of scholarly achievement; junior candidates must demonstrate potential for such achievement. Visitor and Lectureship applications are also being considered. In addition to a strong research orientation, candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education with demonstrated evidence of a commitment to diversity in the educational community.
For tenure-track positions, Ph.D. is preferred, but qualified candidates completing their dissertations are acceptable. For lecturer positions, qualified applicants will be considered.
