Tippie College of Business Announces New Dean
Dr. Sarah Gardial, vice provost of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will become the next dean of the Henry B. Tippie College of Business. Dr. Gardial joined the marketing faculty of the University of Tennessee's College of Business Administration in 1986 and later served as associate dean for academic programs and assistant dean for the full-time MBA program. Her academic research area is customer value and satisfaction. She has been the university's vice provost for faculty affairs since 2008, where she oversees faculty recruitment, training, and the implementation of the university's strategic plan. The appointment is subject to approval by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa. And with the approval, we will begin to welcome her to campus as she begins her transition to the University and Iowa City Communities.

We are now accepting applications for the next Executive MBA cohort class which will be held on campus in Iowa City. The program kicks off with a Residency week (August 13 - 17) then meets only once a week, alternating Fridays and Saturdays*. The program will run through the spring of 2014 with summers off.
