There is no better way to learn how to manage funds than to do it firsthand with real money. The Department of Finance has two student-managed funds that provide in-depth, hands-on experience to participants. Both funds are associated with specific courses and require a significant amount of work. MBA students in the Henry Fund manage more than $1 million and have repeatedly beat the S&P 500. Henry Fund students have won first place in its category at the Redefining Investment Strategy Education (RISE) conference for five consecutive years. The Krause Fund provides undergraduate finance students with significant experience as investment analysts. Graduates of both programs are enjoying great success in the world of finance.
