The Finance Career Academy offers two distinct career tracks: Investment Management and Corporate Finance. The plan of study in each track is designed from a combination of foundation courses and select electives to develop necessary career skill sets.

Investment Management Track—Required Academy Courses

The Investment Management track prepares you for a career in the financial services industry. You'll gain the technical skills and stretch your analytical prowess to succeed in careers like investment banking, asset management, private wealth, alternative investments, and other areas within the financial services industry.

The Investment Management plan of study consists of carefully selected academy courses that build upon the required foundation coursework. All Investment Management students take the following academy courses:

Investment Management Electives

You'll choose 2 elective finance courses from within the Finance Career Academy, 2 from a list of recommended non-finance electives, and the remaining 1 elective from all course offerings. You can find a full list of School of Management courses and descriptions on our electives page.

Corporate Finance Track—Required Academy Courses

In the Corporate Finance track, you'll prepare to become the next-generation financial analyst, manager, and executive for U.S. and global enterprises. You'll be choosing to become a problem solver and a leader.
