English Language Exam Requirements
New for 2014:
TOEFL or IELTS scores are required of all applicants EXCEPT those who were educated solely in English for their undergraduate and/or prior graduate degree.
Applicants from non-English-speaking countries aren't required to take the TOEFL/IELTS if their academic documents confirm that all degree coursework was completed in English.
*All IELTS test-takers will be required to take the on-campus English Proficiency Evaluation.
The TOEFL/IELTS can be waived under the following conditions:
- If you were educated solely in English for your undergraduate and/or prior graduate degree AND your academic documents confirm that all coursework was completed in English.
- You are a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
Applicants should note the exemption where indicated in the application.
