Shelter House Book Sale

Shelter House is a non-profit organization that helps people who have been hit by hard times get back on their feet through skills training, support services, and short-term living arrangements. Help us by coming in to Sycamore mall to buy books, donating your used literature, volunteering your time to help sort donated books, or even sponsoring the event for $25 or more! Not able to help out directly? That's okay, too! Just tell a few friends about the event. Invitations are open to anyone and everyone! Book donations will be accepted in the box in the student exchange. We welcome books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes. Unfortunately, we cannot accept encyclopedias, text books, condensed books, magazines, games, or puzzles. Please contact Shelterhousebook-sale@gmail.com for volunteer opportunities and for info on making monetary donations. Sale hours: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm Sat, March 2nd (Enter @ 10 for $10) 12 pm - 4 pm Sun, March 3rd Thank you for your time, and any help you can give to this great cause!

Finance Academy Optional Session

Learn more about the recent financial crisis from the perspective of portfolio managers and other financial market participants. The Finance department is hosting their annual Finance Advisory Council meeting on Friday. The panel discussion that closes the day's events is about the financial crisis, with Professor Anand Vijh moderating and panelists coming from the above. The panel discussion is from 2:30pm - 3:30pm, in W401 PBB. We encourage you to attend this great learning experience from graduates and friends of the Tippie MBA program. Dress is business professional.
