Super Bowl Ad Rating Party

Come enjoy a night of relaxation and fun as we watch the San Francisco 49rs and Baltimore Ravens battle it out to be crowned the next Super Bowl champion on one of the largest advertising nights of the year. To celebrate the night, attendees will be invited to rank the best and worst ads of each half. Those who rank the ads most similarly to our celebrity panel of judges will receive a prize. Additionally, the event will include the inaugural Trivia Bowl, with teams of 3-4 competing for prizes. This event is free to all MBAA members and their guest. If you are not an MBAA member but would still like to attend, the fee is $10. Please RSVP by Tuesday, January 29th . An unlimited buffet of salad, wings and pizza will be provided for all attendees. Beverages will be available for purchase. If you prefer vegetarian options please indicate so when you RSVP. If you would like to participate in the Trivia Bowl please email your two favorite NFL teams and a full list of members to Ryan-Lindsay@uiowa.edu.

INDUSTRY INSIGHT: iGate

iGate (www.igate.com) is a technology and consulting business solutions provider that is seeking to recruit Business Development Managers for its various locations around the globe. The ACG Cup is a case study competition designed to give students from leading MBA programs across the country real world experience and invaluable insights into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. The 2013 Sustainability Summit will have a focus on local food, organic food, and sustainability within the manufacturing of food. The three speakers are below: Tony Bedard: CEO of Frontier Natural Foods Mark B. Weldon: Author - Fundamentals of Practical Environmentalism (Social Environmental Sustainability) Jesse Singerman: President of Prairie Ventures Liz Christenson, University of Iowa Director of Sustainability and University of Iowa President Sally Mason will also be giving remarks.
