2014 Net Impact Sustainability Summit Add to your Outlook Calendar

Come learn from two thought leaders on the processes, devices, and practices that empower businesses and individuals to be more successful and profitable today and in the long-term. Our two speakers are Scott Walters, VP of EcoBusiness Lighting Control at Schneider Electric and Matthew Mehalik, Ph.D., Program Manager at Sustainable Pittsburgh. Schneider Electric is a Global Fortune 500 company that builds systems and devices for energy management. Sustainable Pittsburgh is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to affect "the decision-making in the Pittsburgh region to integrate economic prosperity, social equity, and environmental quality bringing sustainable solutions to communities and businesses" Sustainable Pittsburgh coordinates the Green Workplace Challenge, a yearlong competition between businesses, governments, and NGOs to implement green processes and practices. A light breakfast will be served at 8:30. The event is generously sponsored by The University of Iowa Executive Council of Graduate and Professional Students, the University of Iowa Office of Sustainability, the Tippie School of Management, MBAA, and Net Impact.
