U.S. Bank Speaker: Natalie Laackman, CFO and VP Finance, Specialty Channels, Kellogg Company Add to your Outlook Calendar

The Tippie College of Business U.S. Bank SpeakerNatalie Laackman is CFO and VP Finance of the Specialty Channels Business at the Kellogg Company. Prior to joining Kellogg's, Natalie held SVP Finance and Group CFO positions with Newell Rubbermaid, ConAgra Foods and Sara Lee Corporation as well as senior finance roles with Kraft Foods. Natalie started her career at Deloitte in the audit practice. She has extensive global experience in consumer packaged goods, SAP integration and M&A. Ms. Laackman earned her MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. She earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. She is active in her community, serving on the AgriBank Board of Directors, Kellogg Executive Women's Network, and the Chicago Zoological Society.

We're offering personal advising sessions designed to assess your admissibility and pre-qualify you for admission. To be considered, reserve an appointment time and bring the following to your personal appointment: - Resume: A professional resume with your experience and accomplishments - Career goals: Be prepared to share your post-MBA goals. If you don't know exactly what you want to do, don't worry -- we want to see that you've given some thought to good-fit careers for you. -GMAT score: The GMAT score is an important factor in the admissions decision; knowing yours will allow us to give a more accurate assessment of your chances for admission. If you haven't taken the GMAT yet, we'll give you an idea of the score you'll need to be admissible to the program based on your profile. Craig has been with Colgate-Palmolive Company for 5 and 1/2 years, spending his first 4 years in Category Management before becoming a National Account Manager in 2012. He has spent a majority of these years working on the Target business, but has also worked with Supervalu. Prior to Colgate-Palmolive, Craig worked at The Nielsen Company as a Client Manager for General Mills after graduating from Tippie in 2006. Tippie was a great catalyst to build a strong background in working in analytics and developing insights, while helping him reach to the level he is at today. Preparing our Students to Compete in the Global Business Environment Add to your Outlook Calendar

Join the School of Management Advisory Council (SOMAC) members as they share business knowledge with MBA students.

Please look for a follow-up email with the room location for your panel discussion. The panel will be followed by a networking event in the Exchange.



Please choose your preferred panel discussion:
  1. Business Analytics. Participants will discuss the use of big data and analytics to support a firm's marketing, financial, operational, and strategic success in global business.
  2. Cultural Competencies.  Participants will discuss the need to manage global companies with an understanding of cultural paradigms, perspectives, sensitivities, behaviors, and values.
  3. Global Strategy. Participants will discuss how to best enable the organization to achieve its strategic objective of successful international expansion and how a firm should manage global presence, sourcing, and customer reach to achieve global competitive advantage.
  4. Financial Strategy. Participants will discuss the implications of the worlds financial markets, regulatory developments, recent financial failures, and economic climate on the financial strategy of a global firm.
