First year students - It's your turn to make your mark at Tippie!  First year MBAs interested in running for a President position in one of our six student organizations must submit their name by 5 p.m.Tuesday, November 12  to be included in the November 13 Student Organization President Election.  Nomination form is available in the FT MBA Suite.  Nominations will also be accepted via email at nadia-dwight@uiowa.edu.  Please include your name and the position for which you are running.

First year students - It's your turn to make your mark at Tippie!  First year MBAs interested in running for a Student Organization non-president leadership position in one of our six student organizations must submit their name by 5 p.m. Tuesday, November 19.  Nominations will be accepted via email at nadia-dwight@uiowa.edu and must include your name, the position for which you are running, brief bio, brief statement of why you are the best candidate for this position.  The election for all non-president positions will open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20th and close at 8 a.m. Thursday, November 21st.

Brian Richman, Director of the Hawkinson Institute, has invited MBA Finance students to a couple of Hawkinson Institute presentations that may be of interest to you.

Fuat Savas and Wei Du from J.P. Morgan's New York-based Global Securitized Products group will be doing a presentation on career opportunities in investment banking, sales and trading, and related areas on Friday 11/15. The event is scheduled for 11/15 at 2:00 pm in S207 PBB.

This will be after the I3 Forum, and please wear the same dress for this.

I3 Forum Add to your Outlook Calendar

The event will start at 8:00 AM with our three guest speakers. Lunch will be served following our keynote speaker. We will begin with two speakers from the Eastern Iowa area; Hilding Branzell, the finance manager for the Iowa City Proctor and Gamble plant, and Jana Michael, the director of development at the University of Iowa Foundation. Our keynote speaker will be award-winning author, Porter Gale. Ms. Gale is an expert in networking, whose book Your Network is Your Net Worth, has been hailed as, &the recipe and the secret sauce for networking.
