Graduate Financial Management Association (GFMA)

Mission

To provide opportunities for all Tippie MBA students to enrich their graduate studies and professional development as it relates to financial management

Vision

The GFMA strives to be known as the student organization that serves as the connection between academia and the finance profession. We seek to accomplish this by exposing Tippie MBA Students to finance professionals and career paths by organizing networking and educational events on and away from campus.

Goals/Strategic Plan

The Tippie School of Management GFMA seeks to achieve its mission by providing members with opportunities in:

  • Career Development
  • Education
  • Learning resources
  • Community Service

The GFMA fosters interaction among Tippie MBA students, finance professionals, alumni, and faculty. The organization hosts two trips a year, traditionally to Minneapolis in the spring and Chicago in the fall. These trips are an opportunity to visit companies and network with alumni.
