Why this student organization and position? I wanted to join and help lead NAWMBA because I believe that it provides a great opportunity for women to connect, support, and learn from each other, along with providing a voice for issues that women are facing in the working world.
Interests: I love cooking for friends, reading, following the Hawkeyes, and traveling. I’m currently working on getting to my last 3 states in the US!

Janine Comstock - Vice President of Networking and Community Outreach

Academy: Marketing
Undergraduate institution: University of Iowa
Prior Career: Research in the biotech industry
Why this student organization and position? I joined the organization as VP of Networking and Community Outreach because I like how it aims to promote equality by educating both men and women about some of the issues affecting society. For me personally, as a new MBA student, I felt as though I really learned how to value myself through some of the NAWMBA discussions that were had with the NAWMBA leadership, fellow classmates, and faculty and I hope to be able to influence future MBA's in the same way.
Interests: In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking, traveling, reading and watching movies with friends.
