Providing Tippie women with the opportunity to establish lifelong relationships with faculty, staff, peers and women in the community

Networking & Collaboration: Build on relationships within the community to provide Tippie women with personal interaction opportunities

Sarah Belser-Ehrlich - President

Academy: Finance
Undergraduate:
Skidmore College, Neuroscience
Prior Career: Public health reserach and small business owner
Why this student organization and position? As more research substantiates the discriminatory situations that women face daily, especially in business, I have grown increasingly passionate about taking steps towards gender equality. As President, I aim to raise awareness about women's issues, provide support to all women in the program, and continue to work towards equality in the field.
Interests: Cooking, eating, food, NPR, biking

 

Morgan Smith - Treasurer and VP of Professional Development

Academy: N/A (joint MBA-MHA student)
Undergraduate institution: Saint Olaf College, Sociology & Anthropology
Prior Career: Healthcare IT and Digital Strategy Project Management
Why this student organization and position? I joined NAWMBA as VP of Professional Development because I support the process of equalizing the rate at which men and women succeed in the workplace.
Interests: I enjoy traveling any chance I get, swimming, running and following Minnesota sports

Lydia Neeley - Vice President of Networking and Community Outreach

Academy: Marketing
Undergraduate institution: University of Iowa
Prior Career: Sales specialist
Why this student organization and position? I wanted to be a part of NAWMBA because of the obstacles that face women in business today; this topic is deeply important to me. I wanted to help organize opportunities for both women and men to jointly understand and overcome these obstacles. 
Interests: I love my dog Luna, watching HGTV, and Hawkeye football. I am also a self-proclaimed foodie
