IMPACT Week (Orientation)

Involvement, Motivation, Professionalism, Achievement, Challenge, Teamwork

The words that make up the IMPACT acronym embody the Tippie MBA Experience. Activities focus on getting to know your new classmates and team-building. You will register for your first semester of classes, learn about the services available, meet faculty, and interact with second-year students. You are also introduced to the case method and complete your first case analysis and presentation.

It is very important to participate in all IMPACT activities. Please plan to arrive in Iowa City in sufficient time to complete all of your personal arrangements before orientation begins. Limited free time during IMPACT Week is available for last-minute errands, but it is strongly recommended that these be kept to a minimum.

Each year we revise the specific activities that are included in IMPACT. This representative schedule of events provides a glimpse of what you can expect. Above all, plan to be fully involved and enjoy your Tippie MBA Experience!
