Admitted & Prospective Students Weekend: Tippie Advance 2015
Think of it as a campus visit times ten.
Advance Weekend is a unique opportunity for admitted and prospective students to experience life at Tippie, meet current students, and get answers to all their questions. At Advance, you'll attend sessions on academics and career services, experience Tippie's social life, get to know Iowa City, and much more!
Advance will give you insight into:
- The culture and social life of Tippie and Iowa City
- Your future classmates -- not to mention insights from faculty and staff
- Our strong alumni network, including their reflections on their time at Tippie and how it prepared them to succeed
- The job search -- you'll hear success stories and learn what you can do to start off on the right track
- Info you absolutely must know before going back to school -- an "MBA Survival 101" session led by current students
Much more than a campus visit, Tippie Advance is a unique opportunity you shouldn't miss!

What Students Are Saying About Advance
"Advance, for me, was a great way to get a glimpse of life at Tippie, meet current students, and get to know some of my future classmates. For my wife, it was helpful to talk to the spouses of current students and get a head start on the search for housing and a job in Iowa City."
Wesley Harrington, MBA Candidate '11
"When I visited for Advance Weekend, I had already committed to Tippie. But after meeting with current students, program alumni, faculty, and staff—not to mention some of my future classmates—my decision to become a part of the Tippie family was really reinforced. It's been one of the best decisions I've ever made."
Carl Schumacher, MBA Candidate '10
"During my visit, I was able to have lunch with students from my potential academy, meet key faculty, speak with the Dean, sit in on a class, and meet with admissions staff. I was able to get honest feedback from students about the program, and this not only gave me a good sense of what the program was like, but also enabled me to trust that it was the right decision."
Jonathan Finley, MBA '12
