IEM Compared to Other Futures Markets

The IEM, which provides markets for outcomes of political elections, does so in the context of educating the university's student body. A profit-seeking venture called Tradesports, which offers forward contracts on the outcome of sporting events and political events, charges four cents for each matched order.
