The Institute for International Business (IIB) partners with the Tippie School of Management to provide a number of opportunities for Tippie MBA students. In today's global economy, it's important know how to conduct business in different cultures and the best way to learn this is firsthand through travel experiences abroad. The IIB provides assistance with a number of programs, including:
- Short-term opportunities that are typically held over winter break or through an intersession course. This includes our popular Explore China program, which takes MBA students to Hong Kong for two weeks.
- Spring semester International Field Studies courses provide hands-on projects with real companies that are looking for insight, perspective, advice, and assistance with their business efforts abroad.
- European summer program options can provide a variety of options in different countries.
- Semester-length programs help students learn from other business programs, expand their personal and professional network, and become more comfortable living and working in a different culture.
