Short-term Global Opportunities

The academic schedule provides opportunities for students to study abroad in special program offerings. The Tippie School of Management provides a Winter Break Global Perspective Program each year in early January. The program is part of a global perspectives course where students earn up to three hours of elective credit. The course typically includes course work and class meetings before, during, and after the international travel portion. The January 2009 program was held in Hong Kong and Southern China.

In January 2010, the Tippie School of Management will be sponsoring an International Program in Santiago, Chile, as a a joint program between the Full-time MBA Program and the MBA for Professionals and Managers (MBA-PM) Program, which will take students to Chile. Taught by instructor Mikhail Grachev, the program is offered in conjuction with the 6N:235 International Business Seminar.

Costs and fees vary according to the location and length of the program. Typically, airfare and most meals are not included in the program, but will vary from site to site.
