What Is Included:

  • Predeparture orientation on campus
  • Orientation upon arrival in Madrid
  • A guaranteed, unpaid internship placement (includes a phone interview by EUSA, followed by a preliminary placement interview with the employer in Madrid)
  • Six University of Iowa academic credits
  • Home-stay accommodations (breakfast and 5 dinners/wk)*
  • Once weekly laundry available through the home-stay family
  • Sheets and towels
  • Transportation pass for central Madrid
  • Basic social program

*For the first three nights of the program, the group will stay in a hotel. Dinner is included on the first night of the program, but meals for the other days in the hotel will not be included.
