Undergraduate MIS majors have access to the department's MIS Instructional Lab (located adjacent to the Pomerantz Business Library). The lab includes computing resources and networking hardware for designing network systems, plus specialized software for web design, multimedia, and data management. Students also have access to the College's well-equipped general computer lab (the largest on campus), which is continually updated with the latest hardware and software.
The ISOR lab is devoted to research conducted by students and faculty from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business' Department of Management Sciences. This laboratory is dedicated to providing a synergistic atmosphere that supports, encourages, and facilitates collaborative research and learning.
Located in S204 PBB (Phone: 335-0972), this laboratory contains six dual-core Linux workstations, two Windows PCs, and two printers. The machines are connected to the Internet at 100 Mbps by a 12-port switch.
