A native of Ghana, Sa-Aadu joined the College's faculty in the Department of Finance in 1981 after earning his Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his bachelor's degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
Sa-Aadu is helping to build a modern financial infrastructure in his home country. He helped to establish the Ghana Stock Exchange and has returned to the country for the past 14 years to help guide its growth. He also advises the Central Bank of Ghana, the Ghana Banking Institute, and the government of Ghana on finance matters. In addition, he has worked with his college alma mater to start a business school, where he teaches every summer and provides advice on curriculum and programming.
