Tippie Professors Appear on WorldCanvass
Barrett Thomas and Ann Campbell, associate professors of management sciences in the Tippie College of Business, are participating in WorldCanvass, a monthly program presented by International Programs at the University of Iowa. The program, scheduled for Friday, March 2 at 5 p.m., is presented before a live audience in the Senate Chamber of the historic Old Capitol Museum.
Japan's post-War economic boom and more recent economic troubles will be discussed by Barrett Thomas, with particular emphasis on the Japanese corporate business model. And Ann Campbell, an expert on the logistics of disaster relief, will discuss the tragic tsunami of 2011 and its aftermath.
The programs are recorded by UITV for later broadcast over Iowa cable television systems and for distribution on Iowa Public Radio and KRUI-FM. Live video streaming is provided through IP’s website, a live broadcast will be playing on KRUI 89.7 FM, and all programs are archived on the Public Radio Exchange and through podcasts on iTunes.
