E-Commerce video conference broadcast via ICN March 21
This presentation will focus on how electronic media is affecting the movement of goods and services worldwide and on how business relationships are affected by the latest communication technologies. The discussion will focus on how, through the use of the Internet, companies can increase their international trade presence.
This program will feature e-commerce fundamentals as well as prescriptive advice on how to get started in the area. It is designed for companies who have business relationships in international markets and for those who are planning to leverage technology to grow their business globally.
The videoconference speaker is Kenneth Sousa, a faculty member in the Computer Information Systems Department at Bryant College in Rhode Island. His research areas include electronic commerce, database management systems, information systems strategy, project management and systems development.
This program is made available through the Partnership for Increasing International Trade to Small Business Development Centers and is presented in collaboration with the Small Business Administration, United Parcel Service, U.S. Department of Commerce, the Rhode Island Export Assistance Center at Bryant College and the Iowa Small Business Development Centers.
