UI Students Gain Experience through Internships
Participants in internship programs are able to gain new perspectives on potential careers as they acclimate to a professional work environment. The Pomerantz Career Center is a campus resource that helps students find internship opportunities to apply their skills at a variety of organizations and businesses.
"Internships provide excellent hands-on experience for students as they prepare for graduation. Not only do students learn about their chosen career field, but internships are an excellent networking opportunity and way to get acclimated to the workplace," said David Baumgartner, assistant dean and director of the Pomerantz Career Center.
