Open Forums Scheduled with Tippie College of Business Dean Candidates
The name of each candidate will be announced approximately 24 hours before his/her arrival in Iowa City on the Tippie College's website at www.biz.uiowa.edu/deansearch.
The open forum with the first candidate is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 23 in Room W401 of the Pappajohn Business Building (PBB). A reception with the candidate will follow the forum from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 pm, W101 PBB
The open forum with the second candidate is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 26 in Room S401 PBB. A reception with the candidate will follow the forum from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in S101 PBB.
The open forum with the third candidate is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 6 in Room W401 PBB. A reception with the candidate will follow the forum from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in W101 PBB.
The UI is conducting a national search to replace Gary Fethke, who will step down from the Tippie College deanship at the end of this academic year (June 30, 2006). He will continue to serve as a member of the business faculty as the Leonard A. Hadley Professor in Leadership. In December, UI business graduate Henry B. Tippie made a $5 million gift commitment to the UI Foundation that will endow the deanship at the Tippie College.
