UI To Confer Degrees in Commencement Exercises
The Tippie Undergraduate and School of Management ceremonies will take place at the following dates and times:
Friday, May 12
Tippie School of Management (MBA program): 10:00 a.m., Hancher Auditorium. Number of degrees to be conferred: 197. Degrees will be conferred by Phillip Jones, vice president for student services and dean of students.
Saturday, May 13
Tippie College of Business: 9:00 a.m., Hancher Auditorium. Number of degrees to be conferred: 508. Degrees will be conferred by Associate Provost Lola Lopes.
Tippie PhD graduates will receive their degrees at the following ceremony:
Saturday, May 13
Graduate College: 3:00 p.m., Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Number of degrees to be conferred: 871. Degrees will be conferred by Vice President Hay.
The School of Management ceremony will be open to the public. For the College of Business commencement, guests must obtain tickets from a graduating student.
The ceremonies will be streamed live over the Internet at UITV's website. UITV will also replay commencement ceremonies at a later date and provide archived streaming files. The full schedule is available online.
