Career Fair Set for Thursday

More than 140 employers will be on hand at a job and internship fair for job-seeking University of Iowa students from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union.

Students of all majors are welcome to attend and will need a UI student ID to check in. They should also bring resumes for prospective employers and dress professionally.

Among employers in attendance will be ConAgra Foods, HNI Corp., Kohler Co. and Ernst & Young, LLC. A complete list of employer will be in attendance can be found online at www.careers.uiowa.edu/fairs.

The fair is coordinated by the Marvin A. and Rose Lee Pomerantz Career Center. The Pomerantz Career Center provides services to students and alumni from The University of Iowa. Services available include career and major exploration, assessment tools, career advising, job and internship search resources such as UI Employment Expo, and an online recruiting system.
