Whiteman Named Interim Director of Institute for Economic Research
Charles Whiteman, professor of economics and associate dean of the Tippie College of Business, has been named interim director of The University of Iowa's Institute for Economic Research. He replaces John Geweke, who has accepted a new research and teaching position in Australia.

The forecasts are used by the state's Revenue Estimating Conference in determining the official prediction of the rate of growth of tax revenues for the coming two fiscal years.
