BTA Wins at AITP National Meeting
Teams of students from the Tippie College Business Technology Association (BTA) competed in several areas at the Association of Information Technology Professionals National Collegiate Conference (AITP-NCC) in St. Louis, March 25-27. The team of Nate Boettcher and Austin Schuler won first place in the Microsoft Solutions competition (79 teams entered), while Nate Boettcher and Greg Pepping won third place in the Database competition (49 teams entered). Curtis Wee also narrowly missed being one of 10 finalists (out of 140 entrants) in the PC Trouble Shooting competition. This is the fifth year that BTA teams have competed at AITP-NCC under the supervision of faculty advisor Yvonne Galusha and have placed in at least one competition each year.
