Earvin "Magic" Johnson to Talk Business in UI Lecture
NBA legend turned successful entrepreneur Earvin “Magic” Johnson will discuss how his business ventures have helped revitalize inner-citycommunities across the country when he speaks at The University of Iowa at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Admission is free and open to the public. General admission tickets will be distributed through the IMU Box Office. Tickets will be available as of April 11. The doors will open at 5:30 pm and the majority of the seating is first-come, first-served.
After a champion career with the Los Angeles Lakers, Johnson now leads the #1 brand in urban America as the chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises, which provides products and services that particularly focus on ethnically diverse urban communities.
