Making Money Using Green Business Practices to Be Discussed at UI
Green entrepreneur Elliot Hoffman will discuss how businesses can make money while embracing environmentally friendly practices when he speaks at The University of Iowa on Thursday, April 14.
Hoffman's discussion begins at noon in Room W401 in the Pappajohn Business Building. Admission is free and open to the public.
Hoffman is the founder of True Market Solutions, a San Francisco-based company that works with small- and mid-sized businesses to help them improve profits by embracing sustainable business practices. The business works with clients to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste and carbon emissions while building branding brand equity and revenue. The company has several clients in Iowa.
Hoffman will also discuss sustainability in a discussion at the Iowa City Public Library at 7 p.m. on April 14.
