Tippie Build Home to Be Dedicated May 7 with Habitat for Humanity
Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity will dedicate a new house in Iowa City on Saturday, May 7, that was built with volunteer labor from students, faculty, staff, and alumni from the Tippie College of Business.
The house, at 2651 Whispering Meadows Ave., will be the new home for the family of Esad and Mihrija Kraina, immigrants from Kosovo and Serbia. The dedication will be held at the home at 1 p.m.
Tippie students raised money to help build the house and organized the volunteer labor as part of its Tippie Build project. This is the fourth home built for Habitat for Humanity as part of Tippie Build.
