Seibert Finds that Empowerment Increases Productivity

Scott Seibert, an associate professor of management and organizations and Henry B. Tippie Research Fellow, recently completed a study that revealed that empowered employees have higher job satisfaction, lower turnover, and lower stress. Seibert also identified organizational and employee traits that lead to successful empowerment initiatives.
