Winners Announced in New Venture Business Plan Competition
The University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center held the Regional Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition on Friday, April 6. The Pappajohn business competition is sponsored by John Pappajohn and Equity Dynamics, Inc. and is open to university and college students within the State of Iowa who have an interest in starting their own businesses.
Twelve finalists were chosen to present out of 21 teams who entered a business plan; but unfortunately, only 3 teams could be selected to move on to the final round.
Congratulations to the following University of Iowa startups who were selected to compete in the Final Statewide Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition on April 25 in Des Moines. These businesses will compete for the chance to win one of 3 seed grants in the amount of $5,000.
