UI Business Alumnus Promoted

Martin P. Mahan has been named chief operating officer by Bank of Florida. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bank and setting policies and procedures. He has also been elected to the board of directors, subject to regulatory approval. He has more than 16 years of senior-level financial experience, most recently as executive vice president at ARGO Data Resource Corp. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of Huntington Bancshares Inc. He received a degree in business administration from the UNIVERSITY OF IOWA.
