Since 1978, the EMBA Program has been held on the Iowa City campus. Now that program has been expanded to Des Moines to better serve central and western Iowa companies. The Des Moines-based, 21-month EMBA program will begin on Jan. 13, 2003, with classes meeting on alternating Fridays and Saturdays at the Krause Center. The Tippie School will admit approximately 40 professionals in a four-semester program that will broaden and deepen students' business knowledge, enhance their leadership skills, and sharpen their strategic focus, all while continuing to excel in their careers.
The Tippie School has been offering Evening MBA classes at the Krause Center since 1999, serving about 200 students each year. The program is designed for working professionals who was to recognize the long-term benefits of a graduate business degree. The curriculum is designed for students representing a variety of backgrounds, undergraduate majors, and professional experiences. Spring semester classes for the Evening MBA begin Jan. 21, 2003.
Classes in both programs meet in the Krause Center, where the latest teaching tools, computer systems, and presentation and analysis software are available.
