IRS Small Business Tax Workshop Set for March 18
The workshop will be held in Room S121 of the John Pappajohn Business Building, corner of Clinton and Jefferson streets, on the UI campus.
The session will include a review of federal tax rules and regulations for small businesses. The Basic IRS Requirements session in the morning will cover the various forms of business and their tax implications and business deductions. The Employment Taxes session in the afternoon will cover the difference between employees and independent contractors, and how much employers should withhold for employee taxes and when.
