MBA Brand Management Course Begins July 11
The class meets Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for four weekends beginning Friday, July 11. Those attending from outside the Des Moines area should plan for an overnight stay each weekend.
Brand equity is among a firm's most valuable assets, and this class can help in the building, leveraging and defense of a company's brands.
Taught by David Krysiek, an award-winning marketing practitioner and speaker on branding issues, the course examines the power of brands, methods for assessing and crafting strong brands and techniques for managing brands through crises and over the longer term. Upon completion of the course, students will have gained an increased understanding of the issues in planning and executing brand strategies and learned the appropriate theories, models and tools to make stronger brands.
Krysiek is managing director of the Brandware Group, Inc. and for nearly two decades has been directing the successful research, development, launch and growth of some of the world's most respected brands including General Motors, DuPont, XM Satellite Radio, Black & Decker, Prudential and 3M. He has also held senior-level marketing positions at Saturn Corporation, Kohler Co. and Saab Automobile AB.
