UI Hosts OSHA Seminar for Small Businesses
This half-day seminar is suitable for all businesses with more than one employee. The goal of the seminar is to help employers understand the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and how health and safety regulations may affect their businesses.
Topics will range from federal and state OSHA regulations, types of inspections and violations, penalties, record keeping, written programs and the top OSHA cited violations.
The class will be held in the MidAmerican Energy Colloquium, W401 Pappajohn Business Building on the corner of Jefferson and Clinton Streets in Iowa City. The fee is $35 per business. This seminar is non-regulatory and confidential.
