CNN To Broadcast Caucus Coverage Live from UI

CNN will broadcast live from the University of Iowa on Wednesday, Jan. 14, as part of its coverage of the Iowa Caucuses. Two of the network's daily shows will originate from campus -- Judy Woodruff's Inside Politics and Crossfire with Paul Bagala and Tucker Carlson. 
The network will park its "Election Express" bus on the T. Anne Cleary Walkway all day. The anchors will host the shows sitting outside with the bus and the Pappajohn Business Building behind them. George Neumann, the UI George Daly Professor of Economics, will discuss the Iowa Electronic Markets on Crossfire and other UI political experts may be invited as guests on the programs.
CNN hopes for a big audience of students, faculty and staff throughout the day to surround the set. Inside Politics airs from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Crossfire from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
