Engineering, Business Lecture On Global Clients Set For Sept. 23
The seminar, being held jointly by the Henry B. Tippie College of Business and the UI College of Engineering, is free and open to the public.
Kubit, who earned a UI bachelor's degree in business administration in 1996, will focus his talk on: outsourcing offerings and offshore delivery centers; using offshore in outsourcing and consulting engagements; a study of client projects that have used offshore centers; and what UI students can do to prepare for a career where outsourcing and working with offshore sites is the norm.
Accenture, a long-time recruiter of UI business and engineering students, is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Committed to delivering innovation, Accenture collaborates with its clients to help them become high-performance businesses and governments. With approximately 95,000 people in 48 countries, the company generated net revenues of $11.8 billion last year.
