Spring Job And Internship Fair Is March 23 at Iowa Memorial Union
This annual event is estimated to have an attendance of more than 700 students. Participating companies include Target, Pella Corporation, and Cardinal Health.
"This is a great opportunity to network with potential employers about fulltime or internship positions," said Angi Schumacher, associate director of marketing at the UI Career Center.
She advises students to prepare for the fair like they would for an interview. "Bring copies of your resume, dress appropriately, and bring a list of questions that you have for the employers. This is a great way to jump start your career search."
Sponsors of the Spring Job and Internship Fair are Allied Insurance, Hertz Local Edition, Online Education Group, and Careerbuilder.com.
