Women in Business Host Charity Ball April 1

The Women in Business organization at the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business will host its first annual Charity Ball on April 1 from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Sheraton Iowa City Ballroom.

Tickets are $20 per person; all proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Women in Business scholarships. Each ticket includes a chance for prizes valued at up to $1,200.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at a table next to Pat's Diner in the Pappajohn Business Building or by emailing Ashley Petersen at ashley-petersen-1@uiowa.edu. Tickets also will be available at the door, but the raffle will not be included.

Sponsors providing raffle prizes include Applebee's, Best Buy, Hands Jewelers, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, Old Chicago, Pita Pit, Target, The Summit, and Tropical Smoothie.
