Business Students Elected to Phi Beta Kappa
The following students were initiated:
Paul C. Avey of Ankeny, a senior studying history and political science with a minor in economics
Jake Trumm of Cascade, a senior studying political science and economics
Whitney Webb of Cedar Rapids, a senior studying economics
Kayleen Dresen of Council Bluffs, a junior studying economics, English, and linguistics
Lindsey Schneider of Dubuque, a junior studying economics and English
Risa Ohkawa of Tokyo, Japan, a junior studying economics and psychology with a minor in theatre
Phi Beta Kappa was founded in 1776, at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. More than 15,000 new members are elected each year from 262 chapters across the United States.
